How to update your name servers

After a domain has been transferred from another registrar you will need to update your name servers before you can use this domain with our DNS facilities. To update your name servers:

  1. Log into Client Area
  2. Navigate to 'Domains' -- 'My Domains'
  3. Find the domain you need to update then choose 'Manage Domain'
  4. Choose the 'Nameserver' tab
  5. Select 'Use default nameservers' to default the name servers back to our standard selection
  6. Click 'Change Nameservers'
If a domain is still 'Pending' you will not be able to update the name servers, so revist this once the transfer has been completed.

You will need to allow up to 24-48 hours for DNS to resolve correctly after changing NS records.
